Most confusing emergency exit sign ever?

by eunmac on February 27, 2009

Best explanation of this sign so far…
1. Find the nearest three headed monster
2. Jump inside it with your children
3. Run to the right?

Of course the irony is that we saw this sign whilst taking a tour of the Queen Mary 2. Happy to say that there was a pretty amazing lifeboat only 10 ft away from where we took this shot.

Christian Bale Vs Microsoft Songwriter

by eunmac on February 3, 2009

This is what you get when you mashup Christian Bale going insane on the set of a movie and use Microsoft Songwriter to compose a song to it. Just a bit of fun – we still like Batman.

Warning – contains adult language ;)

Original Audio from Perez Hilton’s blog:

The Simpsons mocking Apple

by stephanlange on December 1, 2008

The Simpsons have been around as long as I can remember happy television and I was always, I am and I will be a fan of them.

they have never been shy of making fun of everything and in a new episode it was Apples turn.

I was sitting there watching it with a massive grin in my face.

check it out: (the Youtube ones got taken off :-( )

but I found one here.

Pirate facebook

by amnesia on October 1, 2008

In case you haven’t seen this (“yaaawwwnn” … what?? I’ve been in exile and just discovering a few nice old gems), you can make every day Talk Like A Pirate Day on FaceBook. You simply set the language to English (pirate). See Fig 1.

Fig 1.

You’ve probably been pirate facebooking forever, but I LOVE it; particularly the relationship status (see Fig 2). And you know what they say? If you love it, BLOG IT.

Enjoy … I’m off, me hearties, to write some more interesting blog posts while I wait for Gordon Ramsay Facebook to come out gggrrrr. AP

The Most Realistic Unboxing of All Time

by Brady on September 16, 2008

Oh, man this made me laugh.

I’d say our Surface tables were easier to open than this and we needed a crowbar.

From the Australian Parliament, possibly the worst reading goof of all time. The  word ‘implication’ was a struggle but the word ‘organism’ came out about as wrong as it gets! This clip is doing the rounds via email as an attachment at the moment so thought it was worth a post. Nice come back from Kevin Wood in the interview at the end.

Who is Jason Wood?
He is the federal member for La Trobe in Victoria Australia.

He’s certainly got my vote next time. Jason Wood for PM :)

It’s a well known fact that photos or videos of cuddly animals can increase your web traffic so here it is – a photo of an adorable new puppy. In fact she (the puppy) is the new Amnesia office dog and she needs a name…  suggestions?

Looking forward to seeing our overall blog traffic go through the roof. Notice how I used the words ‘kitten’, ‘cat’ and ‘funny’ to lure unsuspecting lovers of animals to this post…

From the Vault – a practical joke soundboard from Pepsi where you pretend to be someone else. Now, we still use this… it is really funny and also kind of handy – we think this is still probably one of Amnesia’s best digital campaigns over the years (note: the soundboard is just a small part of the Office Pranks Website).

image

Legend has it that one of Amnesia’s producers fooled his wife so badly with this soundboard he ended up on the couch for a night. No names mentioned.

Instructions: Simply call a friend on speakerphone (with PC next to you, speakers turned up) and press buttons on soundboard at the right moment (practice for a couple of minutes b4 you call) … There’s two characters to choose from… They’ll never guess what’s going on :)

Old archived Office Pranks website here (has a few broken links so please forgive any niggles. Note this site exists for portfolio purposes and is not attached to any current Pepsi marketing).

Enjoy.

My friend Richard sent me this site. You pick a town and get a gag related to that town. Well I like it :)

Visit it here and see what gems you find.

“Piece of Me” or “Piece of meat”? wasn’t surprised to find someone has made a funny clip with alternative lyrics from the latest Britney Spears single. This has had a 1000 views at time of posting – let’s see where it goes… video below.
