Senior Media Planner

We are looking for a talented Senior Media Planner to join our team. The role, reporting to the Account Director, will be responsible for devising innovative and strategic media plans for our diverse range of clients, as well as planning and buying media.  

Core responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Act as the primary media expert for assigned clients and client service team, including planning and buying of media.  Contribute to media strategy development on other client teams as needed.
  • Acquire comprehensive understanding of clients overarching marketing objectives and how digital marketing fits/complements those marketing goals
  • Provide marketing expertise, including online and offline strategy development for assigned clients.
  • Perform campaign analysis directly relevant to optimisation and/or planning and buying decisions.
  • Analyse multiple sources of external data to assist in planning and buying decisions. Utilise both online and traditional data sources.
  • Develop strategic channel/media strategy (partners, budgets, allocations, placements, targeting solutions) to meet client objectives
  • Access and analyse third-party and syndicated research with proficiency (@plan, Adrelevence, Neilsen Netratings, Media Metrix, etc.)
  • Present recommended media strategy to clients

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of digital media planning and/or buying experience, with at least 3 years online planning.
  • Experience in both digital and traditional media strongly preferred.
  • Experience analysing data and market research, 3-4 years preferred.
  • Experience with ad server technology; Atlas Media Planning Console strongly preferred
  • Proficiency pulling and analysing third-party research (@Plan, Neilsen-Netratings, etc.)
  • PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Dedication to client service

Account Manager

Our Sydney office has an opportunity for an Account Manager to work with our Client Services team. The Account Manager works in conjunction with the Account Director to fulfill client campaign planning, execution, management and analysis. This role interfaces with our clients on a daily basis, and is responsible for building and maintaining a strong working relationship. This position is designed for someone with at least 2 to 4 years of work experience and is the key contributor for all client day to day issues and projects.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Client Service

  • Demonstrates bigger picture understanding of client’s marketing strategy and can communicate how current data insights/tactics associate with longer-term strategy objectives
  • Ability to take complex ideas and explain to clients
  • Always thinking about how we can better serve clients and grow their business
  • Ability to manage difficult and complex issues and partner with Account Director
  • Owns area of expertise and can confidently answer client/team questions
  • Presents at client meetings and industry events as needed
  • Demonstrates thinking/communicating from the client’s perspective as well as Amnesia Razorfish

Account Management

  • Performs day-to-day client contact
  • Coordinate deliverables for weekly status reports
  • Facilitates/leads weekly status calls

  • Manages all tactical client communication and cross team coordination
  • Multiple channel management as needed (branding, affiliate, search, email, web media, etc.)
  • Provide POV’s in weekly client status calls/meetings
  • Specific client requests: Competitive analysis, Research, Sample budgets, Media analysis
  • Campaign management responsibilities: forecasting & budget allocation, campaign planning, execution, creative optimization, site optimization, action tag strategy, delivery or Q&A.
  • Quality assurance and accounting reconciliation

Ideally, the right candidate will have a minimum 2-4 years progressive experience in the industry or in a similar role. You will demonstrate strong knowledge of online marketing and relevant technologies and proven experience in a client facing role. You will demonstrate strong time management and you will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Online Content Manager

Amnesia Razorfish is the Australian arm of Razorfish, one of the largest interactive agencies in the world. Globally, we have over 2,500 employees, with offices in the USA, Europe, and the Asia Pacific.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Online Content Manager, to join our growing team in Melbourne. This is a part-time role, working 3 days a week, on an ongoing contract basis.

As the Online Content Manager, you will be working across all online communication channels, and will be responsible for managing a team of external copywriters. This role will see you working closely with the Account Director, client services team, and domain experts, such as SEO and PPC.

Ideally you will have extensive copywriting experience, with demonstrated skills in project management. This role relies heavily on your project management skills, technical knowledge and your ability to influence various stakeholders, as well as continually improve the content process (sharepoint, ticketing, content calendars etc). Therefore, a strong relationship with the internal and external stakeholders is paramount.

You will have a strong portfolio of work (content & project management) published on the web, a strong understanding of SEO and paid search activity, and have superior communications skills -both written and verbal.

SEO Manager – Melbourne Office

We have a Real, Sharp & Revolutionary opportunity for a SEO Manager to work on well known brands. We are looking for an exciting and dynamic person to join our team locally in our Southbank Office and the wider national SEO & Analytics teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies and tactics in line with client’s business objectives
  • Audit websites and provide technical recommendations for improving SEO visibility and performance
  • Identify new opportunities and recommendations for improving client’s organic search rankings, traffic and conversions
  • Oversee monthly SEO reporting (keyword rankings, SEO traffic, conversion data)
  • Develop insights to inform future optimisations and provide client with recommendations

  • Experience managing offsite initiatives to drive SEO performance improvements (link building, “widgets”, social media projects, etc.)
  • Technical knowledge/experience with XML sitemaps, Robots.txt, and URL re-directs
  • Content management systems and knowledge of HTML, HTML5, XHTML, XHTML-MP, XML, JavaScript, FLASH, CSS and W-CSS as they relate to SEO
  • Dynamic content-generating scripts and database integration scripts like jQuery, AJAX and JSON
  • Knowledge of lead generation clients and SEO tactics necessary to generate conversions
  •  Self motivated, detail oriented and able to prioritize daily work efficiently
  • Omniture SiteCatalyst experience preferred
  • Strong technical aptitude including some ability to understand basic website programming language preferred
  •  Basic financial analysis skills, preferred.
