IBM research created this graph showing in a graphical form who performed the edits for the ‘Evolution’ article on Wikipedia over a 4 year period. You can find several more examples of this at IBMs History Flow Research Group website.
The link came from Coding Horror where Jeff Atwood has a very interesting post on the hybrid behavior of his site Stack Overflow which combines wiki and forum type behavior centered around a reputation system.
