Mobile real world games.
Cipher Cities was developed by a group of researchers and graduate students from the Queensland University of Technology.
It’s a really interesting premise for a community site, build mobile adventures or games that you can share with friends. You can share game photos, rate games and experience location-based gaming. It’s simple:
1. Use the site to search for a game in your city.
2. Join the game.
3. Enter http://m.ciphercities.com/ in your mobile browser.
4. Follow the clues to solve the mystery!
So far there are only a few games available for Australia and Austria, but as the site grows you should be able to find games everywhere. Imagine travelling to a new country and using the site to explore cool and hidden places.
