The fairly new Birds Eye feature in Live maps went by a rather unnoticed so whilst I’m trying out the new beta version of Live Writer, (Microsoft’s desktop blogging application) at the moment and thought I’d use it to add a map. You can see how I added these maps below.

If Birds Eye view is available, you can ROTATE the view from N,S,E,W
(Amnesia’s office is in the middle)
How to insert a map using LiveWriter (download livewriter here)
Use the Plug-in’s planel on the right.
Zoom in – you will see BIRDS EYE button if available.

Looks pretty cool!
I still to this day use Google maps to look around Sydney, where I used to work and live. Such good memories!
