A new Facebook layout is in beta, check it out by following this link (must be logged in first). It is quite a radical change from the existing layout with tabs now used to separate the sections of a users profile. Facebook are also recommending application developers no longer require a user to install an application to use it. Users should be able to “test-drive” an applications functionality before installing the application and allowing all the standard permissions like write to a users feed and notify friends. The layout is scheduled to be deployed at the end of July. Let us know what you think about the layout in the comments.
