So we misplaced our bottle opener tonight (Friday, Beer O’Clock) but Andy our Art Director pointed out you could buy these shoes/thongs/sandals from Reef which have a bottle opener in the sole. Apparently they are very comfy but I’m a little unsure of whether I’d put a bottle to my mouth opened with something that could have trodden in literally anything. Would love to know how many people actually use this ‘shoe opener’ so post here if you have any stories…
On a side note, this gimmick has some fair attention online – wonder if this was part of an SEO strategy? Hmmm!? Well here’s another link to boost Reef’s page ranking

I have a pair of these shoes that I bought on sale for $20. They came in very handy when my boss and I got back to our hotel with three six packs and no bottle opener after a long boring day at a trade show. I normally have my church key handy, but when there’s nothing else I don’t really care where my shoe has been.

I just bought a pair of Reef Fannings, and they are EXTREMELY comfortable. Useful too. They also make a pair with a flask in the sole. I bought mine too big though I think. O well. Still comfy, and they do their jobs well.
