There are two shows most of us at Amnesia watch religiously – Heroes and Lost. Whilst there are many theories for Lost, I thought I’d post the Pandora’s Box theory I’ve had since the end of season one having. [ no spoilers ]

Here’s my theory in short: The Island is Pandora’s Box. In fact the whole story is a modern day retelling of the myth and it will follow the plot – releasing everything on the island into the world when opened, ultimately to finish with ‘Hope’ – the last thing in the box.

Clues from the dialogue:
Season 1: Jack says to Locke on the way to the black rock ‘what do you think is in the hatch?’ Locke replies “Hope.”
Season 3: Ben says to Locke. What if I told you there was a box on this island, and when you opened that box…”

So we end season 3 …the overall storyline is still on track to support the Pandora’s Box theory. Let’s wait and see..
