Ctrl, alt, delete. What happend to the $48bn?

Is this the worst ever data wipeout? A technician in the Alaska State Revenue Office manages to delete $48 billion dollars worth of data, and then accidently formats the backup drive. They then find that backup tapes are unreadable. Ouch.
